3.3 Zeros of a Polynomial function

You should now be able to do problems 1 and 2 on the homework.

Now try to use the Rational Zeros Theorem to find all the possible rational zeros of P(x)=4x^3-8x^2-9x+18. Then watch the next video to check your work.

You should now be able to do problems 3 and 4 on the homework.

Use Decartes’ Rule of Signs to find the possible number of positive and negative real zeros of P(x)=2x^3+x^2-16x+15. Then watch the next video to check your work.

You should now be able to do problems 5 6, and 12 on the homework.

Now find the zeros of P(x)=x^3-4x^2+x+6 using the 5 step procedure from the previous video. When you’re done, you can check your work by watching the next video.

You should now be able to do problems 7-11 on the homework.
